Greg is Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Pryon. His world-class executive experience at Cisco, Polycom, and Avaya provides Pryon the leadership required to deliver its Augmented Intelligence platform to market, enabling enterprises to easily and quickly leverage the power of AI to boost competitiveness and performance.
Greg will lead Pryon’s engineering team and product development efforts, applying Pryon’s technological advantages to transform enterprise collaboration and productivity. This is critical for today’s companies that face a significant “last mile” challenge where half of employees are deskless, a third of their time is wasted seeking insights, decisions are made with incomplete information, and the majority of needed data is unavailable or unstructured for decision makers.
Greg joins Pryon from Avaya where he led a global team and was responsible for a $400M portfolio of collaboration applications, phones, and video endpoints. Prior to Avaya, he was CTO and VP of Infrastructure Engineering for Polycom. In that role, Greg defined the company’s technology vision and developed video conferencing applications, including support for major partners like Microsoft. Previously, Greg held executive leadership positions as CTO of Avaya’s Government Solutions Group and led the central innovation function at Cisco. At Cisco, Greg built the company’s Voice over IP (VoIP) products, created its first IPTV solution, and developed the Cisco Mobile Access Router.
To date, Greg has been awarded 39 patents. He received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.
