Robert Gunn is the CCO of Pryon. He is a seasoned Silicon Valley corporate and business development visionary with more than 20 years of C-suite experience building and leading supply chain, semiconductor, cloud, computer vision, and technology media companies. Throughout his career, Robert has raised close to $100M in venture capital and strategic investor funding.

Before joining Pryon, he was COO of NeuralEye, an early-stage recognition intelligence company that uses computer vision and machine learning technology to create self-learning machine vision systems that identify what they see and respond in real time. Robert was instrumental in developing a high-performing organization and culture, positioning the company for success, and securing funding from venture capital firms and strategic investors.

As Senior Vice President of Operations at Serus Corporation, Robert raised three rounds of funding totaling $25.5M. Serus successfully transformed from a consulting services business to a SaaS-based intelligent operations management company under his direction. Leading Serus’ finance, accounting, legal, sales operations, and professional services organizations, Robert reduced implementation time by 50%, driving a return on investment (ROI) in just seven months. Moreover, Robert accelerated customer growth and secured several Fortune 500 clients across all of the company’s vertical markets.

Robert also led PhysicianAccess.com as President and CEO, and consulted with several early-stage, high-growth startups in healthcare technology, measurement devices, and high-end retail. He was successful in advising these firms on company formation, capitalization structures, financing, organizational design, product and channel strategies, and market awareness.

In addition to being well known as a go-to-market and M&A executive, Robert guest lectures at Bay Area universities on the topics of early-stage company development and executive leadership. He holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University and resides in Silicon Valley.
